It was great to read through last week’s feedback and see what learners took away from the sessions. There were plenty of comments about how comfortable and well-informed people felt, especially on the Manual Handling courses. Several learners mentioned Alfie, saying things like “Amazing tutor Alfie” and “Good course, very at ease throughout.”
The Manual Handling All-Wales Passport Refresher sessions also got good words, with many highlighting Geoff’s friendly and clear approach. One learner wrote, “Quite a lively and educative session. Lots of new manual handling techniques. See you again next year Geoff.” Another said, “Geoff was really friendly to the students and he cleared all my doubts.” It’s nice to hear how approachable and helpful the trainers come across, making the sessions feel quite relaxed.
Moving & Positioning of People Train The Trainer had some thoughtful feedback too. Comments like “Thoroughly enjoyed the training. Feeling very confident in delivering training in the future” and “Geoff communicated really well and at a good pace” show the value learners found in those sessions.
Safeguarding Training drew several remarks about the mix of useful knowledge and an easy-to-listen-to style. One learner said, “Brilliantly executed and easy to absorb and retain information,” while another added, “Great training, with very useful knowledge and understanding, was very interesting.” There’s a clear appreciation for trainers who balance information with a bit of humour and a relaxed vibe.
Overall, the feedback paints a picture of training that’s both informative and accessible, with tutors who help learners feel at ease. One comment that stood out was “Very good training, made very fun. Thanks. Very knowledgeable trainer.” It’s nice to have that blend of learning and a bit of enjoyment on the side.
