Last week’s learner feedback

Reflections on learner feedback from last week’s Positive Behaviour Management and Safeguarding Training courses in Cardiff, including thoughts on trainers and course experience.

Last week’s learner feedback

It was great to read through last week’s feedback and see what learners took away from the sessions. There was plenty of kind mention for the trainers and how the courses helped build confidence.

It was great to read through last week’s feedback and see what learners took away from the sessions. Positive Behaviour Management and Safeguarding Training were the main focuses in Cardiff, and it’s good to see how well the trainers connected with everyone.

People often mentioned how the training helped them feel more confident. One learner said, “I feel confident at the end of the training and learnt how to de escalate without the use of force,” which really sums up what these sessions are about. Another noted the training was “engaging, fun and knowledgeable,” which is always nice to hear.

Safeguarding Training got lots of thoughtful comments too. Learners appreciated the interactive style, describing it as “very interactive, learning and refreshed my knowledge and understanding.” There was mention of how the trainer created a safe space for open discussion, with one saying, “Very knowledgeable presenter. He created a safe and secure environment for discussions and sharing information.” Those little details matter a great deal.

Some learners mentioned Alfie by name, with comments like “Alfie was great!! Super knowledgeable and I found the course super helpful.” It’s nice to know that the trainers’ efforts to keep things light-hearted while still informative are well received.

There were also simple but encouraging remarks like “Well understood,” “Very educative and informative,” and just plain “Amazing.” It’s sometimes those short, straightforward comments that really stick with you.

Overall, the week left a lot of positive impressions, with people feeling well supported and equipped with new knowledge. It’s always heartening to see that kind of feedback after a busy week of courses.
