Last week’s learner feedback

It was great to see what learners shared about last week’s training, with plenty of kind comments about the trainers and the course sessions.

It was great to read through the feedback from last week’s courses and see what learners took from their sessions. The Manual Handling All-Wales Passport and Refresher courses had several positive remarks, especially about the trainers’ clear and friendly approach. One learner mentioned, “Good trainer and very detailed and shared his experience and best practices and very friendly.” Another said, “He is very good the way he teaches us,” which really sums up the atmosphere we aim to create.

In the Prevention & Management of Violence & Aggression sessions, Geoff came through in the feedback as someone who makes the material easy to understand and engaging. Comments like “Geoff is absolutely incredible” and “The trainer is so good and made it easy for us to comprehend what was taught” stood out. There was also mention of the sessions being interactive and supportive, with one learner reflecting, “The training programme was amazing. The trainer was interactive and supportive.

Alfie received warm words for the Manual Handling All Wales Passport course too. Learners described the experience as “really enjoyable” and said Alfie made them feel at ease throughout the training. One person wrote, “Alfie really put me at ease and made the course really enjoyable,” and another added, “Had a great experience during the training. Learnt a lot of stuff. He is a star.

Overall, learners appreciated the trainers’ knowledge and approachable style. There was a rare note regarding course materials not being received on the Refresher course, but the majority of feedback painted a picture of sessions where people felt supported and took away useful skills.
