Another positive week of training behind us, and some really encouraging comments came through afterwards. A number of learners took part in Prevention & Management of Violence & Aggression courses, both the full version and the refresher, along with Emergency First Aid at Work and Safeguarding Training.
One thing that really stood out was how learners appreciated the trainers’ approach. Geoff came up a few times, with comments like "Geoff was very knowledgeable and it was a pleasure to be taught by him again" and "Geoff is a good trainer and well enlightened. I enjoyed the class." It’s clear that his knowledge and delivery made a real difference for those attending.
Alongside that, the refresher courses had some lovely feedback too. Learners found the sessions both clear and engaging, with remarks such as "Alfie made the subject fun and interesting. Learnt lots and enjoyed" and "The instructor was great and very knowledgeable, he made the training very simple and informative." It’s great when the training can be both informative and approachable.
The Emergency First Aid sessions also sparked some warm responses, especially with smaller group sizes allowing more detailed and personal attention. "Smaller group so more details and personal. Cost effective but great value for money," said one learner, while another described the course as "very helpful friendly and chatty." This kind of atmosphere really helps people feel comfortable and ready to learn.
Other courses like Safeguarding Training were praised for being interactive and well delivered, with comments noting "Nice and interactive training" and "Lovely teacher. Thanks." It’s always a pleasure to hear that the sessions are enjoyable as well as informative.
Putting it all together, the feedback from last week paints a picture of training that’s well received, clear in its delivery, and genuinely useful to those attending. As one learner put it simply, "Really pleased with how the course went," which sums up the spirit of the week quite nicely.
