It was great to read through last week’s feedback and see what learners took away from the sessions, especially for Manual Handling All Wales Passport and Positive Behaviour Management courses. Alfie received a lot of kind words for making the Manual Handling courses both informative and engaging. Comments like “Alfie was a brilliant instructor. Made the course very enjoyable. Fantastic guy.” and “Alfie was very good and delivered the course in a way that suited everyone!” show how much his approachable style resonates with people.
There were also plenty of remarks about the clear demonstrations, with one learner saying, “The course tutor have showed us in everything in very excellent demonstration and would recommend this course.” It’s nice to know that the way things are explained really helps people absorb the material quickly, as another learner put it, “Very good and knowledgeable I learnt very fast.”
On the Positive Behaviour Management course front, the feedback highlighted how the mix of theory and practical aspects worked well. One participant found it “insightful and indepth,” while another commented that “The training was quite impactful.” First-time experiences were mentioned too, with a learner appreciating having Nick as a trainer, calling him “really nice.”
There was a useful suggestion for the Emergency First Aid at Work course about adding an assessment on the recovery position at the end, showing how learners are thinking about ways to improve their understanding further.
Overall, the feedback speaks to trainers who are approachable, knowledgeable, and able to deliver the material in ways that suit different learners. It’s always encouraging to hear things like “I leant so much thank you” and “Excellent delivery,” which remind us why this work matters.
