Last week’s learner feedback

It was great to see what learners valued most in last week’s sessions, with some thoughtful comments about the trainers and the course content.

It was great to read through last week’s feedback and see what learners took away from the sessions. The Manual Handling All Wales Passport and its Refresher courses seemed to make a real impression, with comments highlighting the practical focus and the supportive approach of our trainers. One learner mentioned, “Alfie was great! He took his time to explain every bit to ensure we all understood,” which reflects the care put into delivery.

Many also appreciated the Prevention & Management of Violence & Aggression course. The patient and clear explanations helped people feel comfortable asking questions and gaining confidence. One comment said, “The trainer was really good. If we did not understand something he went over it again with us.”

Emergency First Aid at Work sessions also received warm remarks. Learners shared how informative the sessions were and how they felt much better prepared to provide first aid if the need arises. “Very informative session, and learned a lot throughout the session. Feeling a lot more confident about providing first aid if needed in future,” summed up the sentiment well.

It’s reassuring to see that the training is making a difference, especially for people new to the care sector. One learner reflected, “The training has really impacted my life and given me confidence since am a new bee into the care sector I am very happy to have been part of the training program.” Another said, “I really enjoyed the training. The trainer was patient, engaging, and encouraged participation.”

Overall, the mix of practical skills, clear explanations, and friendly, approachable trainers seemed to resonate with everyone last week. It’s always good to hear how the sessions help build confidence and understanding in such important areas.
