What learners said about last week’s training

Last week's sessions left us with some thoughtful words from learners, especially around the approachable trainers and how relevant the courses felt.

It was great to read through last week’s feedback and hear what people took away from their time on the courses. There was a nice mix of comments that really give a sense of how the sessions went.

On the Manual Handling All-Wales Passport Refresher, learners found the day informative and enjoyable. One mentioned, “Fantastic course, I enjoyed the day,” while another said, “Good training.” It’s always good to know the practical side of things comes across well and that people feel comfortable throughout.

The Positive Behaviour Management course had some lovely feedback too. One learner shared, “A very enjoyable course with lots of information. Great instructor,” and another said, “Amazing trainer very good at training and clear enjoyed it a lot.” There’s something reassuring about hearing that the sessions not only deliver knowledge but do so in a way that’s clear and engaging.

Among the Prevention & Management of Violence & Aggression course comments, Geoff’s name came up often, with people appreciating his enthusiasm and interaction. One said, “Couldn’t speak more highly of Geoff as a facilitator, he brings great enthusiasm and character to a course that could potentially be quite dry.” Another wrote, “The PMB training was excellent—clear, well-structured and directly relevant to my role. I feel much more confident applying it in practice. Thank you Geof.” It’s nice to see that the sessions manage to keep things engaging and relevant, especially on subjects that can feel quite heavy.

The Safeguarding Training also received some positive notes about the delivery and materials. Comments like “Very good tutor and course materials, good usage of exercising learning material and not the standard reading off slides. Very engaging and refreshed a lot of knowledge, highly recommend,” show how the course balances information with interaction.

There were plenty of mentions about the friendly, clear approach from trainers across the board, making the sessions feel accessible. One learner put it simply: “Great day thanks.
