What learners said about last week’s training

Last week brought in some lovely feedback with learners appreciating the helpful trainers and practical course content.

It was great to read through last week’s feedback and hear what people found useful in the sessions. The Positive Behaviour Management course received some thoughtful comments, especially from those new to it. One learner said, "Enjoyed the session, never done PBM before and learned a good foundation for feeling confident and understood important principles about legislation and understanding what’s reasonable force and using primary prevention methods first." Another mentioned it "gave a great overview of positive behavioural support, with a strong emphasis on preventative strategies!" It’s clear that these sessions help people feel more prepared and informed.

The Manual Handling courses also had plenty of positive remarks. Comments like "Explained everything well" and "Very good, plenty of time to ask questions if unsure" reflect how approachable and supportive the trainers were. One person described the session as "very easy going and full of knowledge," which really sums up the relaxed but informative vibe of those sessions. The All-Wales Passport Refresher courses were highlighted too, with learners saying things like "Highly recommend" and appreciating the trainer’s supportive style, for example: "Alfie is a genuinely great trainer and super supportive as well." It’s lovely to see that the trainers create a space where learners feel comfortable to engage and clarify their doubts.

The Prevention & Management of Violence & Aggression Refresher sessions had encouraging feedback from the Merthyr Tydfil venue. Learners used words like "Perfect Training," "Wonderful class," and "Good and engaging training." Many noted how Alfie helped them understand the material well, with comments such as "Alfie was so helpful and taught us very well awareness." This really shows that the session’s delivery and content left a positive impression.

Overall, it’s nice to see how the mix of new and refreshing courses continue to resonate with people. Comments like "I loved the training and Geoff was amazing" add a personal touch, reminding us that approachable trainers make a big difference in the learning experience.
