Another good week of training last week, with some lovely feedback coming in afterwards. It’s always nice to hear how the sessions land with those attending, and this time there were plenty of comments about both our Manual Handling and Prevention & Management of Violence & Aggression courses.
Many found the Manual Handling All-Wales Passport Refresher really useful. One learner mentioned, "The manual handling training was very informative and useful. I learned the correct and safe techniques for lifting and moving, and the practical session helped improve my confidence." Another said simply, "Enjoyed and refreshed knowledge," which says a lot for a refresher course. It’s clear the trainers struck a good balance between practical guidance and clear explanations. Someone else wrote, "I really enjoyed the course. The instructor was knowledgeable and delivered the training clearly. The course materials were helpful." This seemed to be a common thread across the board.
On the Prevention & Management of Violence & Aggression front, there was a warm tone too. "Very fun and informative, thanks Geoff," one learner wrote. Another commented on the friendly atmosphere: "The instructor was very knowledgeable and friendly, he made everyone feel welcome and included." A few also appreciated the mix of theory and practical steps, mentioning how the trainers shared their own experiences which made the sessions more relatable. "Great course and very knowledgeable trainers with an adaptable teaching style," was one such remark.
Our Epilepsy Training & Buccal Administration course also got some nice comments, like "Highly experienced trainer" and "Enjoyed the course." It’s good to know these sessions provide value and confidence to participants.
Looking through all the feedback, it’s clear that the trainers’ knowledge and approach stood out. As one learner said, "Learnt a lot from Geoff.. lovely guy! Great at his job..." That kind of personal touch matters a lot when it comes to training.
