Course overview
This refresher course is designed for staff who have previously completed violence and aggression training and need an up-to-date, practical re-cap. It reinforces safe, confident responses to challenging behaviour and helps ensure your approach remains consistent with current best practice and organisational expectations.
The refresher focuses on what matters most in real situations: recognising early indicators, using communication that reduces escalation, applying proportionate strategies, and knowing how to protect yourself and others. Where physical skills are included, they are taught with safety, legality and proportionality at the centre.
